June has been a busy month in Nova Scotia with lots of great riding weather and events to enjoy.
The annual Ride for Sight Weekend took place from June 4-6th and the winner of their Vulcan 900 Custom Bike Draw was Bob MacNeil of Sackville. Sorry we missed the festivities, but we were on our way to Lake George, New York for the Americade.
We were booth #1 at the forum during the 2010 Americade and had a great time all week speaking to thousands about riding to Nova Scotia this summer. We were so busy we didn’t get a chance to visit the vendors at the beach area, but Harold still took lots of photos from our vendor area at the forum and during our rides down the main drag…Canada Street.
Visit our photo section and view the motorcycles, crowds and exhibits on display.
Earlier this year in May, a fire destroyed 5 motorcycles and the S & S Custom Motorcycle shop of Sean Wallace of Weymouth. On June 26th the DC Riders of Digby are hosting a benefit at the Digby Fire Hall from 10am till 3pm, to help Sean and Sue get back on their feet after this tragedy. So come and show your support, and bring your old bike parts, home-baked goodies or anything for the auction. Live music and BBQ will be on site and all donations are gratefully accepted.
