It is such an uplifting feeling when someone visits your home province, and then takes the time to write to you, expressing their sheer joy at the wonderful experiences and friendly people they encountered.

For the past few years we have been honoured to present a Grand Prize Expense Paid Trip in Nova Scotia; at the world’s largest touring rally, the Americade in Lake George, New York.

This trip is made possible by the hard work of many people. Thank you to the staff at DEANS (Destination Eastern and Northumberland Shores); and the motorcycle friendly resorts, hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, restaurants, cafes, lobster suppers, museums, attractions and the NovaStar cruises who all have generously donated their services as part of the prize package.

This year’s trip covered 11 Days & 10 Nights in Nova Scotia and the winner Cheryl Vagell of New Jersey wrote this 4-page letter:

My wife Wendy and I had the pleasure of meeting riding and spending time with them. We traveled the Cabot Trail, the storm the fortress and spent time at the Minglewood concert. They had a wonderful time and could not say enough about how much they loved their trip to our beautiful part of the world. We enjoyed their company so much and kept in contact with them until they arrived home safely. The organizers of the trip they won surely deserve a huge thank you. Always great to show fellow riders our home.
