The Miramichi River Route travels from the city of Miramichi (also on the Acadian Coastal Drive); to the city of Fredericton; joining the River Valley Scenic Drive.

This entire area is most famous for it’s namesake, the Miramichi River; the world-renown salmon angling along it’s shores; and the strong Irish, Acadian and Aboriginal cultures that thrive along this route.
You’ll find national historic sites and many historical attractions including New Brunswick’s oldest covered bridge at Doaktown.
Enjoy the Miramichi River with it’s celebrations, boat tours, tubing and salmon angling.
