The Tall Ships Regatta

An exciting transatlantic race of 7,000 nautical miles taking place over the course of five months in six countries. At their arrival in the Gulf of St Lawrence, the Tall Ships will start the Guest Port Program portion of their trip and will stop in more than 30 Canadian ports.

Race #4 Halifax, NS. Host city of the last portion of the Tall Ships Regatta going to Le Havre in France. The best of Nova Scotia will be showcased through music, culinary, historical and family friendly experiences on both sides of the harbour and in outport communities around the province. Nova Scotia’s sailing ambassador Bluenose II will be front and centre during the event, highlighting their seafaring history and sail training passion. Aug 4-6  Fri-Sun  Show-n-Shine

15th Annual Show-n-Shine in Aid of Juvenile Diabetes. Hosted by the Relic Riders of Carbonear. Place: Paddy’s Garden, Carbonear, Nfld. Friday: Meet & Greet, 74 Adelaide St. Saturday: Beginning at 11am at Paddy’s Garden: Concessions, biker games, venues, food court. Trophies presented at 5pm. Dance: Four Barrel at 9:30pm-closing for adults only at Knights of Columbus. Sunday: Annual Ride around the Baccalieu Trail departing at 1pm, 50/50 tickets along the way. Aug 5  Sat  The Rolling Barrage

The Rolling Barrage a rolling fundraiser in support of veterans and serving members. A nationwide strength, and unity to conquer the stigma of combat PTSD.
BEGINS at Mile 1 H-D, Mount Pearl, NF to ferry at Argentia on Saturday, Aug. 5th.
Arrives in Sydney on Sunday, Aug. 6th and proceeds to Halifax, NS.
Departs Halifax on Monday, Aug. 7th for Gagetown, NB.
Departs Gagetown on Tuesday, Aug. 8th for Valcartier, PQ and continues across Canada ending in Esquimalt, BC on Sunday August 20th.
Riders and supporters may join in at any point along the route.
