Every year seems to pass quicker since our lives got more hectic with the good old internet. Now with texting and tweeting, the simple art of conversation seems to be on it’s way to becoming a lost art. Well all the bikers I know still know to talk up a storm and we are always first in line to lend a hand to those less fortunate, especially during this busy holiday season.

This weekend and next are 2 great examples of extending friendship and a helping hand to our brothers and sisters.

First up is the Annual BIKERS DOWN SOCIETY Auction – “Bikers Helping Bikers” to be held this Sunday (Nov. 23rd) at Woody’s BBQ at 159 Hector Gate in Dartmouth. $5.00 admission at the door, 50/50 Draw, All-You-Can-Eat-Wings for $10; and the tunes of Jimi Black as you browse the auction items. Then Krazy Kraig will take your bids on all the awesome items available. For more info…or to make a donation; call Jimi or Sally at Riding in Style Leather, 902-252-3377.

Then enjoy the tunes of the Low Rider Band at the Benefit Dance & Auction for Roberta (aka Bubbles) at the Buffalo Club in Eastern Passage. Your kind donations will be appreciated by Roberta and her family as she prepares for more surgery & chemotherapy. For more information call Krissy Pasher at 902-471-0736. Donations and/or items for the auction may be dropped off at Scissor & Sun at 1479 Main Rd., Eastern Passage.

Our heartfelt thanks to all the riders & passengers who participated in fundraisers, toy runs and food drives throughout the year.
Your generosity makes a HUGE difference in the lives of others less fortunate than ourselves.
